About the work：
The artist SAZEN originally wanted to create a bust of a grasshopper man, but halfway through, the idea of incorporating cordyceps fungi came to mind. He thought it would be interesting to combine the two, like 'life within life,' representing symbiosis and parasitism. For him, it was a fascinating experience to express the mechanism and state of that parasitic relationship.
